1962 marked more than the release of songs from Ray Charles and Elvis Presley, it was the year Ng Dry Cleaners opened for business. Through hardships and distances, each member of the family proved time and time again that love - and a good steam press - is worth more than money. Each and every person who walks into Ng Dry Cleaners gets the same welcoming and familiar smile shared by everyone in the Ng Family.
Sau Kim Ng, the natural matriarch of her family, didn't actually speak much Papiamentu. But this language barrier wasn't enough to stop her from providing the best service possible to each and every person who walked through the door. This staple continued on with her children as they grew older and contineud to work at Ng Dry Cleaners
As the eldest daugther of five children, it seemed only natural for Lai Yen Ng to take over her mothers laundry as Sau Kim got older. Kindhearted and warm, her ability to make customers comfortable adds to the quality care given at Ng Dry Cleaners.
The youngest of the Ng children, Lai Fon Ng is more than family oriented. Her ability to lead and communicate made her a natural at the storefront. Always welcoming and funny, Lai Fon plays more than an ownership role at Ng Dry Cleaners.
